Celtics only need to win 1 in Atlanta to gain home court. They will hit their 3's next game. I'm not too worried.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Tiny little bump. I don't see that getting a suspension.

Ejection? Alright, no problem with that ... but I don't think Rondo will be suspended for more games. Fined? Sure.

He tripped on his foot.  I don't think that bump was intentional.

That bump was VERY intentional! A very childish thing to do in such a big game. Think Tony Parker or or Steve Nash would have done something so stupid to put their team in jeopardy for the next few games as well? NOT!

Disagree, his momentum clearly changed after the misstep.

Totally disagree. You don't ever contact an official.

If the league overlooks this, we're incredibly lucky.

WHY even put yourself in that position... Rondo had INTENT when he approached the ref.  You MUST stay self controlled.  Sadly, this is Rondo's nature.

Man why bump the ref.....

He tripped on his foot and the momentum carried him into him.

Watch the play again.

His chest bump was independent of him tripping.

On a positive note, Rondo got 11 assists. :)

Were there eleven FGs made by Celtics not named Rondo tonight? Man that was dreadful game overall. Started badly and we just could not recover at all. Atlanta simply was a better team tonight than we were. There is no other logical explanation to this.

Snide remark that massages my ego and affirms my superiority complex.
Thanks for bringing me back to earth, bro. Don't know what I'd do without you "realists." Nothing like couching yourself in the minority and resisting the temptation to have any pro-celtic expectations or opinions for making yourself look and feel cool.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

exactly.  footage shows he had control of his feet and balance before making contact.  it was deliberate.

Im not worried in the least, one fluke win and one of the worst games of the season by the C's isnt going to dictate a series.

Celtics are the better team, in basketball the better team always wins.
