If we get by the Heat, the Thunder might be unbeatable. That is if they get the calls like they did tonight.

They get more than the Heat do.

They get superstar calls but the C's have proven they can overcome the refs.

Job well done for Oklahoma.

They'll be a strong favourite against either Miami or Boston.

What % chance would you give the C's for pulling the upset if they get past Miami?
Somewhere in the 20-30% range

SA is nowhere near the defensive team they were back in their heyday. That was their undoing.

We would fare much better against the Thunder..

I picked the Hawks to beat Boston.
I picked the Sixers to beat Boston.
I picked the Heat to beat Boston.

So I will pick the Thunder to beat Boston too.

It's working out well for me so far :D

With how KG and Rondo have played I'm pretty comfortable matching up against any team.

We've played super stars, athletes, young guys, top defensive teams, top scorers and we've been doing just fine.

KG and Rondo, our defense and throw in Pierce and a rounding into form Ray and I will say I am absolutely comfortable no matter who we play

Even more so than against Miami having Bradley would have been huge in such a matchup if we take care of business tomorrow.

all those games between SAS/OKC pretty much went 100+.

IF we get by Miami I dont see us allowing as many points per game.

I think the Celtics would be the best defensive team that they would face thus far.

If they ended up playing either team really.

Bradley was a nightmare for TP during the season.

I'm still comfortable with how we match up though

Perk would be useless in a series vs the C's . He can't match up with Bass or KG, they would just pull him away from the basket and blow by him . Then when Durant moves to PF Pietrus or PP will be on him and Ibaka will play center match up with KG .

I don't see Perk getting more than 15-20mpg in the finals against the c's.

Wow, wow, wow.

I've read a LOT of posts today, with a LOT of statements regarding winning or losing against the Heat, but I can't resist responding to this.

Do not, dare, the refs.

Seriously. I'm not afraid of anyone, except the refs. I can take any type of loss, from blowouts to brain-farts.

But not a loss by bad reffing.

... and I don't want to think about how far the refs are willing to go.

assuming we make it to the finals,

OKC hasnt faced a defensive team like the celtics yet in these playoffs...san antonio is a so-so defensive team...La cant guard the pick and roll. and Dallas was Meh defensively since letting go of chandler.

I think Doc's plan would be to slow the game down to our level, make OKC play half-court...I think theyll try and shut down either Harden or Westbrook like we have been doing with wade.

Their offense is pretty much Iso durant, Iso westbrook, iso harden, kick out to 3point shooters.

Just not worried about the officiating anymore. Maybe foolish but that's how I feel at the moment.

It seems like Harden is getting away with a lot of flopping imho.  There was one call against Manu that was horrible.  Then another flop by Westbrook where he got a call against Parker where there was absolutely no contact at all.

I don't think it was the difference in the game, but c'mon why are there so many bad calls, especially related to the flopping?

I am glad OKC broke through this year, but was a bit sad to see SA get taken out.  Doesn't matter now anyways though, C's gotta take care of their business tomorrow night.  Go C's!

Why?

And yea the Thunder do scare me mainly KD and their bigs vs ours (Steamer, Hollins these guys will have to give something and that alone I dont even want to process)
