Perk would be useless in a series vs the C's . He can't match up with Bass or KG, they would just pull him away from the basket and blow by him . Then when Durant moves to PF Pietrus or PP will be on him and Ibaka will play center match up with KG .

I don't see Perk getting more than 15-20mpg in the finals against the c's.

They should change their starting lineup against the Celtics and move Perk to the bench in favour of Nick Collison. Collison is a much better matchup against the Celtics jump-shooting bigs and Perk will be more effective going up against Stiemsma/Hollins.

I don't think they will but they should.

That royally sucked. I did pick OKC to win but the Spurs made me reluctantly hope with that first half and their fruitless 2nd half runs. Really disappointed because my Celtics/Spurs final dreams was so close. If we win the East OKC looks like a formidable but I hope the Celtics live up to their new nickname Tommy gave them and survive everything to remain the last team standing.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

duncan just called out the refs haha

I have to agree though..that was a horribly officiated game. some real ticky tack fouls on the Spurs while the Thunder basically marched to the line every single time

BUT, thats what you have to expect when you have Joe Crawford who challenged tim duncan to a fight reffing the spurs close out game.

Yeah, Spurs got mugged with no calls. A lot of OKC fouls over the last 4-5 minutes, but only a few were called.

Job well done for Oklahoma.

They'll be a strong favourite against either Miami or Boston.

What % chance would you give the C's for pulling the upset if they get past Miami?
Somewhere in the 20-30% range

And so our title hopes are lofted into the air like a free throw from the hands of Andris Biedrins.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Two early threes from Battier. Good start for Miami.

And Durant answers back with consecutive triples from the top of the key.

It's better against big power lineups. Less so against small lineups.

Miami's one big lineup will cause their starting unit some problems. I expect both teams to play small a lot as a result, and consequently, for this to be a high-scoring series. Should be a lot of very good attacking basketball.

Am I the only one bored watching this? Players just taking turns playing iso-ball on each team

Nice 8-0 run by Miami early in the second to build a good solid lead.

From a pure basketball stand point this series won't be very good. It's going to get good in crunch time though.
