Man, I love that shooting star commercial. I smile every time Van Gundy answers with that wig.

Whenever were up at half vs good teams

we always end up losing
The Bulls collapse last week comes to mind.

I feel like we should be up by a lot more but not complaining.

If Miami uses that lineup again and has LeBron on Rondo, the Celtics need to take better advantage of that Paul Pierce vs Mike Miller matchup.

There is no way M.Miller can cover Pierce. Gotta get him more involved offensively. Get him to touch the basketball each time down.
They scored twice on it. They clearly were trying to attack it every time .
Oh my mistake. I thought they only went to it once (that Pierce drive and layup).

Steamer +16 on the bench. Who needs 6 rebounds in 10 minutes? Small ball is here again folks!!! :'(

I know you aren't disappointed in that half.  C's in hostile territory against a top team hungry for revenge. You expected Miami to curl up and wither away?   C's perform as well as possible and you sum up the half with a Doc negative.  That is unreasonable bias.

??? I am disappointed with Doc going away from the successful formula.

By the way, I'm talking basketball and you are attacking me. Read the rules buddy!!! This is twice this week.
The big change is Miami adjusting to that play we ran successfully on like 10 consecutive plays.

I dont want a small lineup unless KG is on the court. Even then I'd like to try bass covering batter or miller for a bit again

I just don't want it. Steamer playing too well.
The issue isn't his play but how well KG and bass can guard miller and battier

If they go small, we should attack them inside. Bass did in the first half and got on the foul line.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Btw. love the way Stiemsma shows up for big games. I know he is old for a rookie, but he just does his thing.

That over-thrown pass that went out of bounds when Pierce was fronted -- was it against Miller?

Right. For example: the Sixers game Sunday, the Pacers game Saturday, the Heat game last week, the Jazz game, the Hawks game... Oh wait.

I think your basketball comments were unfair.  Not sure why only one of us can have an opinion.  But I do get that you are talking about Doc and I am talking about you -- so I see your point. Sorry.

then he gave up threes later.

Lebron Wade are having their usual night. Need to shut one of them off. Bosh is a non factor so far.

Easy to have big nights when you never get a foul called on you.

hat is a righteous statement....but...in the NBA..no matter how old someone is...they have never played at this level b4....and the "rookie-no-ref-respect"...is another thing..!
