Miami did well to hang in there but Boston's performance in the first 18 minutes was the story of the first half. Stellar.

Miami barely hanging in there.

Wow...TERRIBLE defense by Pierce...anyone else not like the direction of this game?

Starting to get lazy and careless.

I would be willing to say that when Bosh came into the game, the Celtics should have countered with bringing in another big, not just replacing Bass with KG.

I think it was good to get halftime and get into the locker rooms.

Let Miami cool off while Boston regroups and gets ready for the second half.

WOWWWW

Who has a grin from ear to ear right now? :)
I had that for ages, yeah :]

Oh man, I love lobbing obscenities at the heat while we keep hitting shots over them.

Steamer +16 on the bench. Who needs 6 rebounds in 10 minutes? Small ball is here again folks!!! :'(

I know you aren't disappointed in that half.  C's in hostile territory against a top team hungry for revenge. You expected Miami to curl up and wither away?   C's perform as well as possible and you sum up the half with a Doc negative.  That is unreasonable bias.

I can't remember the last time I saw such great upspeed basketball from both teams. Amazing!

But we've got to tighten the defense now in the 3rd quarter. More Stiemsma!

If Miami uses that lineup again and has LeBron on Rondo, the Celtics need to take better advantage of that Paul Pierce vs Mike Miller matchup.

There is no way M.Miller can cover Pierce. Gotta get him more involved offensively. Get him to touch the basketball each time down.

That three guard lineup isn't going to work against teams like Miami, I which Doc would get that. C's let them back into the game with poor defense and matchups.

Ray has got to get going and Pierce needs to man up.

Oh and the C's are so much better when Steamer is on the floor in protecting the rim and rebounding.

If somebody came up and offered to come out of a shooting duel against Heat up by eight through the first half, I'd gladly take it, so, I'm  hopeful rather than disappointed, going into the second half.

I also think bringing back Bass to play alongside KG is a good option because they can't keep LeBron on Rondo there. Nobody who can defend Bass and nobody who can defend Pierce.

Gotta change their lineup to matchup better with the Celtics. Force them to adapt to you rather than the other way round.
