I have been saying Williams is too dumb and unskilled to be an NBA player since he entered the league...and now I am going to completely ignore that, and be a huge homer now that he is in Green.

Anyone know if he is still banned from BC's campus?

LOL, like that honesty

I also like a low risk, high upside signing

FYI I just merged these two threads (even though I just realized that one was started way back when he was released - oh well)

TP 2 the OP for his Swame-like powers.

I would much rather have them bring back Montross and Acie Earl.

Oh I agree. I really don't understand either the Hollins signing or this. I mean there aren't NBDL players or ant other pros better than these guys?

it is done. he is a celtic. what is there to debate in terms of whether he should or should not be here?

let's focus on what role he might play for the celtics now.

i hope he can give the celtics 10 minutes a night. it might be fun to watch williams and the steamer in together. who would dare drive to the basket then?  ;D

i hope he turns out to be less of a knucklehead and more of a basketball player.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

A 6"10 pile of meat that can defend the hoop and give rest to KG and bass.

That's all he is.

Hollins failed at being a pile of meat, so they're trying this guy.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

Is Sean Williams more or less useful than Keyon Dooling?

Why not get a wing that can score when pierce or Pietrus are out. Daniels and Pavlovich are not doing much offensively and defense is not that great either against quicker players. Yes Pavolvich can stick with Carmello; but he is not going to help against Lebron. What can Williams do that JjJ can't.

Ray Allen will take care of the bench scoring.

Pavs has been a monster defensively and has been grabbing boards. But if you can defend Melo well, I'm pretty sure you can at least slow LeBron down.

Yeesh, some of you guys sure do expect a ton from end-of-the-bench bigs. The dude can run well and jump high, which are two things those sloths Montross and Earl couldn't do. Remember how lots of people were dumping on "Stinksma" early this season? How'd that work out?

Let's give the guy a chance.
