I don't think you should trade a first round pick (or Bradley) for McGee unless you are prepared to overpay in matching an offer sheet. You don't have to be willing to match everything, but you should be willing to go at least $1-2m/year more than you think is appropriate.

I wouldn't be shocked if in the end he ends up signing with whatever team he is on for the qualifying offer.

His team sucks. But if he comes to the Celtics and we start winning, and do great things in the playoffs, he becomes a hot commodity. With that said, I don't know if there are teams have a hole at center that can afford to overpay him so he just might stay where ever he is.
I have too much respect for the intelligence of Houston or Dallas to think they would be serious bidders for JaVale McGee.

Dude had 21 and 18 against the Spurs the other night. He's far from a scrub. His basketball IQ is just low.

McGee C'Mon Down!!! would love him on the C's. I absolutely have no desire for any draft picks as coach Doc won't play them anyhow. I rather us trade them. McGee is a good short term & very good long-term solution. Kaman I love but he's very short term an injury prone. Anyhow I'll whichever one that we could get.
