I dont believe we're going to help Miami win a championship.  That'd be unforgivable.

However, if we do trade Ray, Im sure he ends up with Miami next season.  LeBron recruited him hard last year before he decided to sign that two year extension with Boston.

My brother's friend's cousin works at the Dunkin Donuts closest to TD Garden and he said that he heard Danny Ainge and Wyc talking when they came in for a cup of joe and some crullers that they were going to trade Pierce and Garnett to the Mavericks.

Totally reliable rumor!

The Heat don't have any assets to give us.  Sure, somebody like Norris Cole could be an okay piece, but there's no way to get him without taking back around $8 million per year in long-term contracts.

Okay, at best. Our perception of him seems a little skewed since he played well against us in the second game of the year. Forgetting the name for a second, how good of a piece is a natural 2 guard, in a PG's body, who is shooting 41% from the field (33% since the all-star break) and commits 1.7 turnovers to his paltry 2.5 assists? Plus, he doesn't really shoot it all that well from distance (30% from 3's). I see a lot of Boobie Gibson in him, with a better handler, but not the same shooting ability.  He'll also be 24 later this year. Again, I just don't see much upside in this kid.

You mean the Dunks IN the Garden???   :P

Nah, I've never seen them hang out there, had to be some look-a-likes or something.

My uncle's wife's brother's best friend waxes the floors there though and said he overheard Danny working on a trade to send out JO/Bass/Wilcox + Clippers pick for Howard.  Said it was a "done deal".

awesome!  :D

i think danny and wyc meet at the dunks outside the garden so they have a lower chance of being noticed ;)
