So totally word of mouth, but reliable source from within the organization whom I cannot name said that Ray believes he will be traded to the Heat by the deadline.  Obviously unsubstantiated info such as this will be taken with a grain of salt, but at least something to discuss.  Cole and pick maybe??

Would hate to see Ray on that team.

If you want a rumor to catch on, you really need a better hook around here then "reliable source from within the organization whom I cannot name"

We want a "CROTOR" or "Deli Guy".

 ;D

I will believe this when I see it.

This move doesn't make sense from either organizations perspective...

The heat are already loaded at sg and their pick is likely to be worse than the clippers pick

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
So which one to we get in return? Wade or Lebron?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The Heat don't have any assets to give us.  Sure, somebody like Norris Cole could be an okay piece, but there's no way to get him without taking back around $8 million per year in long-term contracts.

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry
Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson
Jordan / Bowen

If we did that, I'd be OK with trading Rondo for Gasol.
