Heartbreak. Just a tough loss to start a road trip. An exhausting, physical game that we couldn't pull out.

Since it hasn't been said yet, let me be the 1st to blame Rondo.

Lets blow this up. Tired of this

If the Lakers are contenders for the title, then so are the Celtics

Out coached!!!

No outsized.
did you forget steamer...did you miss how he shut him down aLL GAME.....we DO have the 7 footer...and he did it all game while he was in....

Yeah I don't see how they were outcoached.  We don't have size... they took 14 more FTs than us, Kobe's last few shots he had a hand in his face and made the shot, Bynum made an absolutely crazy play on a horrible alley-oop by Kobe.

Players have to make plays.  Ours missed key shots, there's made them.

Rondo's lack of a jumpshot was a big part of that final play. With Rondo on the floor, Lakers were able to double off on either Ray or Pierce to defend the 3 point shot very well

The idea that this game validates the "blow it up" crowd is laughable.

This team has nothing, NOTHING inside. No 5. Period.

It's simple.

Accumulating "assets" makes me chuckle. We haven't ever had "assets." We had a lottery pick, a scorer who couldn't defend me, a bag of Danny's trash and two teams who were selling superstars on the dollar.

That's called being lucky, not having assets.

Well, this does validate the "blow it up" crowd, unless you think this team is going to get a talented 7 footer without compromising the rest of the roster.

again, if anything, this game validates the "lets keep it together for one last run" crowd. We were right in this till the last shot minus our starting center and backup center.

WHY were are two bigs on the bench peitrus on kobe...steamer on bynum....

Can't tell if this is a joke or not. Pietrus is 6' 5" and you want Stiesma in for defense?

Since we lost in hindsight maybe dooling should have been in at the end of the game and Sasha too!!

If people are going to complain about coaching at least make sense instead of blurting out "OUTCOACHED!!!!"as soon as the final score goes up.

I'm not going to get mad a Doc for playing Paul Pierce over Michael Pietrus and Brandon Bass over Gregs Stiemsa(especially the way Bass was shooting prior to the choke :-X).

Steamer did not get a 4th quarter minute. Truly sad. Van Gundy was commenting on how well he was playing before Doc yanked him. Doc does not have the guts to play Steamer over Bass.
