First, let me say that I just got back from the NJ/Charlotte game and it was IMPRESSIVE (Deron I mean.) And yes, the Bobcats were trying. They decided NOT to double team Deron and they had a three point shot at the buzzer that would have sent it to overtime. So, maybe it was NOT a bad idea by Paul Silas.
I DVDed the Celtics/Knicks game and look forward to viewing it. I did get to see the first 5 minutes prior to heading to Charlotte and the last 4 minutes in OT in Charlotte. We were playing the Knicks, a .500 team coming in at HOME, right? NJ was playing a road game, right? I don't care who you play, a road game is a challenge.
Rondo's games is VERY impressive, but popcornmachine.net only gave him a 36 Eff. Rating and they gave Deron a 54. There is a clear difference there.
Also, Deron did it in only 38 minutes of a regulation game and Rondo did his in 48 minutes in OT.
I got free tickets for attending Bobcats open house for season tickets for next year and was thrilled to get a chance to witness personally the highest scoring game in the league this year, not to mention a rare competitive game at Time Warner Arena:-)))
Peace,
