150% on board with moving Rondo, but as Roy says, there's not enough alcohol in California to get them to move Curry for Rondo.

Can you imagine the attitude he'd have on a losing team? He might never show up to play.

Wow, exaggerate much? I'm pretty sure he never walked out during the 2007 season. And isn't he more or less playing for a losing team right now?

Well don't look now, but we got ourselves a WHOPPING .500 record! All we gotta do is trade Rondo to Portland Greg Oden (maybe he can borrow a pair of knees from LaMarcus Aldridge), sign Iverson, Arenas, and Antoine Walker and Banner 18 here we come!
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Trading Rondo want help this team. I think you guys are over reacting. I think our problem is Danny this time. We held on to JO when Sam Dalembert would of been a great pick up. We sign Dooling who has been horrid. Delonte West would've been better suited. C'mon guys don't be blinded thinking Rajon is the problem. Granted that Green is out for the season we could been more aggressive as far as GM'in goes.

Curry in a heartbeat. Was it Danny Ainge running the offense tonight while the Bucks went on a 12-0 run? Nope.

I am gonna laugh so hard when Rondo finally gets to play with some players who actually compliment his style of play, and proceeds to become a top 10-15 player. Yeah, let’s trade our best (and youngest) player. Rondo is garuanteed to be better than any player we trade him for. Arggh…the madness!!!

How does it make sense to trade a player, who may or may not fit so well with the current roster (BIG 3), when these players have very little time left here anyway. Chances are we will never get back an equal value in return for sending him out. The stupidity of the Perk trade last year would pale in comparison to trading Rondo for anyone but a legit superstar (which ain’t happening).

Be patient. Let the old guys ride into the sunset, and then surround Rondo with young players who can run, shoot, and play defense. I garauntee Rondo will then reach his full potential and amaze all of us.

Do people really want to see this happen on some other team?

curry has the skill that ppl value about all else scoring, rondo has the greater capacity to help his team overall and has outproduced curry the last few seasons.

There is starting to become too much stuff out there about Rondo's mindset...on ESPN, there's the article that I'm sure most of have seen - the one about Rondo not getting along with Doc:

Quote
The Boston Celtics are aggressively trying to trade Rajon Rondo, their fourth-leading scorer and one of the NBA's best point guards, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

The Celtics find Rondo's personality to be too high-maintenance and his clashes with coach Doc Rivers remain an off-court distraction, sources told Broussard, and the front office is now actively pitching him to other teams. With the Celtics realizing they are no longer title contenders, they don't believe his point guard prowess is worth the headaches Rondo brings, sources say. And they do not want to build around him.

Full Link here:

http://espn.go.com/boston/nba/story/_/id/7631850/sources-boston-celtics-aggressively-trying-trade-guard-rajon-rondo

I have no idea who the "Sources" are, but I gather that if it's on ESPN, then there's some truth to it. ESPN gets it wrong sometimes, but most of the time they get it right.

Thankfully, us as fans will probably never know the real story, because the C's do a very good job of keeping their mess in house - as they should.

Lord, if this isn't true, then I'd hope that Doc and Danny would hold some sort of news conference, and Danny would say something like "I love Rajon...we have no intentions on trading him.." or something along those lines.

For me, IF THIS IS TRUE ABOUT RONDO - no one player should hold a team hostage by their actions. No one. No matter how talented they are.

I care (and I'm sure most of us do as fans) too much about BOS for one player to not do "Ubuntu."

Trade him if this is true. Again - IF THIS STORY IS TRUE, then Rajon isn't a Celtic. This goes against everything I've ever typed about him, yes - but judging by his (and BOS's) erratic play as of late, SOMETHING is amiss.

My prayer is that BOS can string together some wins, and Doc and Danny will be happy again. Hopefully, no one from the Core Four would get touched if this happens. Get some quality wins and act like a team and all will be well.

I hope.

Man, I hope Rondo can string together like 6 or 7 of these...maybe these Rondo threads will go away.

I'm guessing that it's too late, though. I really hope I'm wrong.
