But he seems way too fragile to trade for.taking back damaged goods is probably the only way the Celtics get back a potential star for Rondo -- seeing as he's reportedly seen as damaged goods himself (or else the Celtics wouldn't be shopping him so hard).

If the Celts haven't pulled the trigger on Rondo for Gasol it's pretty unlikely that they're shopping him hard.

FACT is that they are shopping Rondo.

It may have been discussed, but if the Lakers are going to trade Gasol, I'm sure they'll wait to see what happens with Dwight.

You keep talking about how the Celts are shopping Rondo hard, and that he doesn't have a lot of value around the league. If they do unload him and don't get a lot back, I guess you're right.

If they do unload him and don't get a lot back, I guess you're right.I think it's more like that they don't trade him because despite the shopping they aren't going to find a deal that's palatable. He's worth more on our team than he is in a trade, because other teams view him as damaged goods. If we try to trade Rajon, other teams will assume it's because of attitude issues or a desire not to build around him, which means other teams will low-ball us.
