There is a reason he gets more run then anyone else after the big 4.
I think that reason is that he came in ready to play and KG's minutes are limited, while Wilcox had and early injury and is needed at the 5, JO is on minutes/health watch, and Steimsma and JJ are rookies and aren't ready for big minutes.
I rank our bigs as follows:
KG
Wilcox
JO (if/when healthy)
Bass
JJJ
Steimsma
The top 4 make the rotation.
We have one heck of a drop off from #1 to #2 any way you slice it. If either Wilcox or Bass are your #2 big, your team is in trouble. Ditto if your #3 big can't stay healthy and available to play on a consistent basis.
I'd very gladly trade any of them except KG (for this year's run) and JJJ (for the future). The rest should be very available. The idea that we NEED Brandon Bass just doesn't make any sense to me, even though he has played and does play well in a limited role.
