I would never give up both picks to get Rivers.
He's good, but he's got a long way to go and is living off his dads name more than anything.
We wouldn't give two hoots about him if not for the team connection.
I want a big man. I also want a big man that can run with Rondo and Green or whoever they put out there. Now if we somehow manage to scrape together a deal that gives us a 8-13 pick, I want one of these two guys:
1) Perry Jones;6'11", huge wingspan, athletic as all get out. Incredible athlete. Needs size/strength but this guy can handle rock at almost 7 feet tall. Reminds me a lot of KG in high school around the rim. Doesn't have much of a jumpshot so isn't the biggest threat in the pick and roll, thus losing any comparisons to KG's overall game.
If he could develop a more consistent shot, he would be naassstyy, and he's my number one WANT by far.
high school beating up on shorter, younger punks:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHFymjyG_0cArnett Moultrie: 6' 11" he's ranked going later than Rivers but again, is like Jones with a huge frame, very athletic and hungry on the offensive and defensive boards.
Not the best outside shooter, but goes after the ball and plays hard on the defensive end.

In other words, solid role players, but there ain't no Kevin Love's in this draft.
So I'd go after
Terence Jones. Very solid small forward prospect at 6' 9". Talent and athleticism to really be a game changer on a young team, can shoot inside and out, can get to the whole, and is in my opinion one of the best passers in the NCAA right now.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEIw4qhiFF0Of course there's the Zeller brothers, Mason Plumlee, as well as John Henson (he's gonna go too high for us).
Our 2013 pick may go higher as our record gets worse so we may be able to combine two picks for a 9-15 pick if we are lucky and get our hands on one of these guys.
Am I missing any realistic big men here?
Feel free to add.
