Arenas, on the other hand, just turned 30. I see no reason why he physically can't dominate still.

He looked pretty bad with ORL last year.  His explosiveness is gone.  With his $100m+ in career salary I'm sure some of his fire is gone too.  And let's face it, no ownership group wants his image representing their team after the whole gun fiasco.  He would have to be an extreme talent for all of that to be forgiven (see M Vick).

We are at an important time of the season, 15-16, last night we suffered another major defeat, it was expected against the Mavs.

Without KG, Bass, Rondo ... JO is injured.

Bradley, Dooling, Pavlovic, Daniels, Moore Where are we going with these players? They give us nothing.

JO is a player who I have always liked, but he is very limited now, knees and wrist, we need a center.

Ainge should trade to Rondo + Pavlovic Dooling, JO has little value now.

And I still think that Arenas or Iverson House would provide more than all these players, Dooling and others.

The team needs a change of course, there is still time and I think if we go into playoffs, we beat everyone except Heat and Bulls.

  • Rondo = Good
15-17 after Wednesday's game against the Thunder.  Then a game against the Cavs, which is probably a toss up since Andy V will be out.

So we're probably looking at 15-18 or 16-17 at the halfway mark of the season.  Either way, we'll be sub-.500.

We are now 15-17 (Thunders vs lose) against the Cavs with Rondo, KG Bass and maybe we should win and be 16-17.

Then in the Garden, vs. Bucks (hopefully 17-17), Nets, Knicks, Rockets ...

And then we start another road in the west.

I say we try out AI got nothing to lose rigth?

Iverson has 36 years, that I know, we need young guys also know.

But we need annotation, the bench, Dooling, Bradley does not contribute anything, AI can score 15 points and give 5 asist, I'm sure off the bench, this should be considered Ainge.

Ainge is time for a call to AI, at least give him a workout, as the Lakers with Arenas.

There is nothing to lose.

Heh, Iverson > Dooling, that much, I'd be willing to commit to.

He might add some drama and watchablity but he wouldn't help the team win any more games.

well I'm watching the games anyway...so a little drama at the moment wouldn't go astray...

call me crazy for wanting "has beens" but considering AI's pedigree, i would welcome his addition..chemistry breaker? probably? but i guess his gut will be in check nightly by the other guys..the question is if he would thrive on doc's system, the same way marbury lost himself out of the system and celtics' roster..both marbury and AI thrive on their aggressiveness and individual talent, a no-no in boston's ubuntu culture..

I've been saying this for years... AI fits this team well especially as we struggle offensively on a nightly basis. We need offensive talent & AI is that guy.

Unless Iverson can play center, I tend to disagree.  You'd gain more from signing Mark Eaton.

If you're just interested in selling tickets and providing some drama... might as well just sign Dennis Rodman.  I bet he can still grab more rebounds than Jermaine O'Neal.

Rodman is still alive, right?

I still think AI can still contribute much to any team, he loves to return to the NBA and prove he can still be valid.

I do not know, AI is still better than many players in the league, he may well leave the bench and score 15 points, 5 asist, I am sure of this.

Dooling, Moore, Bradley?? Do you think they bring more than AI?

The answer is no, I repeat, AI wants to return and he deserves one last shot, there's nothing to lose, a workout.

I really do not care what the press say about AI, this has always been the same.

If AI returns to the league, he will want to do well and prove to everyone that is one of the largest in history, hall of fame.

Please, Iverson is not Marbury, he's a hall of fame and legend, and deserves more respect around the world.

4 times top scorer in the league, 11 time all star, 24000 points.

AI is not Marbury, please.

The idea that AI can give 15 points and 5 assists is strange. He couldn't do that as a starter for the 76ers two years ago. Why would he be able to do it off the bench now? He hasn't even played since his calf surgery last year.
