I do not understand, Pavlovic, Daniels, Moore, Dooling???

Please, Allen Iverson and Arenas are unemployed, I'm quite sure they would provide more than Dooling and Company.

Boston needs annotation, AI is 36 but he can still play at high level.

Ainge should do a workout to AI.

I think both Iverson and Arenas would be good for the bench, they are players who can create his own shot, and we need this.

our problem isn't really guards.  The problem is that our 7th string big man last year is currently our starting center.

AI is 36 but he can still play at high level.

Then why is he not on some team's roster right now?
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I'd gamble on one of them.

Someone who could create his own shot would be an asset to this team.

And you can say they're both "washed up," but people on this board said the same thing about Peja before he became a rotation player on the Mavs last year and Brand before he bounced back to put up 13-9-2.

I'm making no guarantees, but at this point it's worth a shot.

We all make mistakes in life, shame on Mr. Stern, he is a hypocrite, it's a shame that Iverson is not in the NBA.

And I repeat: Allen Iverson can still play at a high level on any team, is incomprehensible.

The NBA is a shame, Stern manipulator.

What does David Stern have to do with Allen Iverson not being an NBA roster?

Iverson burned his own bridges by quitting on Detroit and quitting on Memphis.

David Stern is a hypocrite, he did the same with Sprenwell.

Normal, Do you think Iverson (hall of famer one) on the bench for Conley?

In Detroit, Dumars deceived AI, Detroit destroyed the career of AI.

But calm, AI will return to the league, they will see.

Iverson was unable to deal with not being a start playing heavy minutes. That isn't the coaches fault, that's his own for putting himself above the team.

David Stern had nothing to do with that, and you've offered no evidence or credible reasons how he could be.

Yes, you start Conley in Memphis over AI - at that time, Memphis was in serious rebuilding mode. You play the young, future PG over the elder statesmen in that situation. If AI was as honorable as you think, he would've taken a mentor role with Conley instead of pouting on the bench like a spoiled brat.

And the Detroit situation, AI quit (the whole team really quit that year). There's no excuse for that and I don't feel sorry for him.

if we're going to gamble we should sign Rasheed. we need big men more than guards. i don't know about iverson, when was lthe last time he played? doesn't he have a bad back that got him cut from overseas?

apparently arenas didnt impress in his lakers work out. I'd still take him over pav

1) Spreewell screwed Spreewell by scoffing at a very reasonable contract with the Wolves because "he needed to feed his family". Despite the fact that Antonio Cromartie's family is 4 times the size and he made half of what Spree was offered last year.

2)AI doesn't want to be on a bench, AI wants to be the spotlight still and that is the problem. He's a Hall of Famer and he should just fade off until that day in Springfield.

Arenas and AI are so washed up man... I'd honestly keep the current roster over either of those guys and trust me I know we're not contending as is..

AI I can buy being washed up. He's 36 and relied on his speed to dominate.

Arenas, on the other hand, just turned 30. I see no reason why he physically can't dominate still.

I think his problems in Orlando were more about fit. Given the C's major problem with scoring, I say give him a shot. Let him jack up 20 shots a game and then see what defenses do. If he can score, he could really open up things for everyone else.
