I'm going to start my back-to-back by taking OJ Mayo, psyched he's still there. I'll probably try to have him come off the bench with Anderson for a ton of scoring punch off the bench. He can play with Johnson bumping to the 3, gives me some versatility.
I really like OJ Mayo on this team. Joe Johnson's physical size and ability to defend both wing positions gives your team nice flexibility. Easy to play a player like Mayo and make large gains offensively. Jrue Holiday too; he has the size and defensive chops to guard the two allowing Mayo to defend the point if there is a really bad matchup out there.

Great start to your bench with Ryan Anderson and OJ Mayo. Two game changing options.

I guess this explains why Sacramento wasn't returning my calls, LOL.

Monta, Tyreke, and MarShon, together. Wow.

Cousins and Monroe is a HANDFUL to deal with and will be for the next 10 years, really like this team given the unannounced trade for Jack and the fact that you got the 4.11 pick. Still a lot of good scorers on the board, too, to make up for it.
2023 Historical Draft: Toronto Raptors

Point Guard: Anfernee Hardaway, Fat Lever, Terrell Brandon
Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger
Power Forward: Jermaine O'Neal, Bobby Jones, Kiki Vandeweghe
Center: Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka

Yeah, a lot of redundancy with those 3 on the floor. With them, Harrington and Hibbert you at least know you'll get a shot off every 24, but it also might set a record for worst ball movement on a team (actually no, they won't catch this year's Wizards).

I'm going with:

Michael Redd!

He's showing signs of life the last few games, and he rounds out my starting 5.

I have no doubt that he will continue to get his legs under him and contribute to the team. I'm happy to select him.

I think that is a great move for Detroit. They should trade Greg Monroe now.

I don't like Monta and Tyreke together for Sacramento. Too much self-involved play. Hard to build a team based framework with two extremely ball-dominant guards of their ilk. Plus, Monta will hold back Tyreke's development just like he has with Steph Curry.

Wow, a Cousins-Monroe tandem. Who else is in Detroit, besides Knight?

I don't know how I feel about that combo. Could be really good, or they might get in each other's way. And you have to hope that Greg rubs off on DeMarcus, not the other way around.

Edit: Gerald Henderson is the SG for Detroit. So, I think it's:

PG: Brandon Knight
SG: Gerald Henderson
SF: TBD
PF: Greg Monroe
C:  DeMarcus Cousins

They've got Jarrett Jack too, pending the pending trade being approved.

You don't think Cousins and Monroe can coexist? I'm intrigued but I'm not sure.

Offensively that'll be a super fun tandem. I'd be real concerned about the defense though. Not a lot of quickness there.

Short term, definitely not. Long term, possibly.

My lack of certainty is why I would trade Monroe. I think he's got really good trade value and by moving him Detroit can build a team that can definitely play together and play at a high level. Rather than a team that could go either way.

For me, I don't think the pay off is enough to warrant the risk. I am happy to take that risk if the end reward is far greater than the trade options but I don't believe that's the case here. So why take the unnecessary risk?

Certainty over uncertainty, in this case.
