I'm going to start my back-to-back by taking OJ Mayo, psyched he's still there. I'll probably try to have him come off the bench with Anderson for a ton of scoring punch off the bench. He can play with Johnson bumping to the 3, gives me some versatility.

Anyone looking to get this current pick (3.20)? I don't mind moving back into the 4th round and would enjoy some better later picks.

Sorry for holding everything up.

Can't believe he lasted this long.

Yeah me neither. Unrelated anybody read last month's Slam?

Quote from: Casey Jacobsen
I played with JR his rookie year in New Orleans in 2005. We were a bad team, full of me-first guys, but he took the crown. I’d never seen a guy so intent on shooting the ball every time it hit his hands and I’m sure I never will again. Watching him during his latest Denver years, I can see that not much has changed.

The even better quote:

Quote from: Casey Jacobsen
It’s nearly impossible to explain the weirdness that is Darko, but he told me one time that he did not keep his money in any bank, nor did he invest in stocks or bonds. “I just keep it,” he told me and then turned away. Looking back, I should have asked a follow-up question. I don’t know if I believe him, but he was making over $6 million that season. That’s a lot of cheddar to stash underneath a mattress! On another note… that was easily the longest conversation we ever had, and that was how he preferred it.

That's one reason why he wouldn't have been taken by the Cavs.  Great skill set, but he's a headcase.

I haven't trusted a Jacobeson since that floozy Natalie went behind Chet's back.

Dang it! I was hoping to reunite Ariza and Kobe.

I like Ariza on your roster. Should be a very good piece for your team.

I am liking your team as a whole. Impressive blend of skills and overall balance. I think it has a chance to be a title contender if the next 2-3 picks play out well for you. Needs a high level bench to be a contender.

Okay I went outside the box on my last pick (meaning the guy doesn't play for the TrailBlazer or 76ers).

PG Lou Williams
SG Wes Matthews
SF Gerald Wallace
PF LaMarcus Aldridge
C Elton Brand/ Amir Johnson

I feel like Amir can hang around the rim, comfortably play alongside either Aldridge or Brand, and he gives me the shot blocker I lost when Camby went off the board.

Plus he's only twenty-four, the realization of which always leaves me sort of stunned.
