Okay I went outside the box on my last pick (meaning the guy doesn't play for the TrailBlazer or 76ers).

PG Lou Williams
SG Wes Matthews
SF Gerald Wallace
PF LaMarcus Aldridge
C Elton Brand/ Amir Johnson

I feel like Amir can hang around the rim, comfortably play alongside either Aldridge or Brand, and he gives me the shot blocker I lost when Camby went off the board.

Plus he's only twenty-four, the realization of which always leaves me sort of stunned.

Like the team a lot, though I wonder if you'd be better off moving Gerald Wallace for a more traditional 3 with some good range. Put's more of an emphasis on your strength (front court play)

Walker Wiggle selects

Larry Hughes' first best friend, Corey

Okay, if you're talking to Corey, then you tell him I know Larry was in New York last week.
just checking on this: was this a legit pick or just goofing around?  not slighting the pick, just trying verify who's still available.

Pistons be happy with yet to be announced activity.

Gotta go pick up my daughter, but I'll be interested in hearing what y'all have to say later.

Have fun.

Nah, don't apologize. I don't see either GreenFaith or Edgar around anyway.

Solid pick to whoever was pulling the strings.

Wait, you mean you didn't really intend to keep three SGs?

Didn't accomplish either of my goals because I think the right guys will still be around tomorrow (or I'll get screwed :P), I'll have two picks.

PG: Holiday
SG: Johnson
SF:
PF: Stoudemire
C:

B: Ryan Anderson, OJ Mayo

Regardless of whom I pick tomorrow to fill the SF and C slots, they'll be defensively minded to balance things out. Also regardless, I'm planning on going with an end-game 1-2-3-4-5 of Holiday, Mayo, Johnson, Anderson, Stoudemire to close things out, small-ball a la Celtics a couple years ago. Really excited about that lineup, it's a nightmare to stop defensively. Could be an issue when I'm playing defense, but I really like the defensive trio of Holiday-Mayo-Johnson, and Anderson/Amare depends on the matchup. Might take a rebounding hit, but I think it's worth it for the offense.

My two 4ths are going to be really pivotal for my team, though.

Depending on how you characterize the new guy, it could be 4 :P

Point taken, but I don't think I could bring myself to do it. One, I've always preferred to build a team around the two guys I chose at the outset - just an odd personal preference. And two, Crash is possibly my second favorite player, outside of Boston. (Ginobili being the first.)
