The almost new look Spurs

PG  Parker
SG  Manu
SF  TBA good fitting role player
PF  Bosh
C  Duncan

Besides needing a starting SF, I need a minute eating big man (to keep Duncan's regular season minutes down) and a minutes eating 6th man swing man (to keep Manu's regular season minutes down)

And yes, sometimes it is better to be lucky then good.  (being both really helps)

All I know is we started out with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the 18th pick in every round and that we have this team and that we are both having a bunch of fun:

PG: Kyrie Irving, 19 years old, future ROY and multiple time All-Star
SG:
SF: Luol Deng, 26 years old, All-Star
PF: Kris Humphries, 27 years old, double double machine
C: Andrew Bynum, 24 years old, 2 time World Champ, All-Star

And Roy and I have no comment on the rumor that Dan Gilbert called and has offered us both jobs as co-Directors of Basketball Personnel.

You left out 'hearbreaker' next to Kris Humphries, Nick.

Not sure if anybody else's Girfriends/wives made them watch the show, or if they just wanted to watch it themselves, but im totally team Kris in the whole thing, he is funny.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

We're gonna look down on you with pity. That's some size, some talent, and some defense, suckas.

Thoughts?

I honestly don't know enough about splitter and his game. I like the fit of Gallo being a stretch 4 in some situations to give Howard more space to operate, and whats not to like about lowry and howard.

Do you have the go to perimeter offensive player you need to get to the top level of the playoffs?  (to balance with Howard down low and keep the top defenses honest)

I'm team nobody, despite that I do watch the show. He's a moron, and she's a terrible human being.

PG: Russell Westbrook
SG:
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Luis Scola
C:  Chris Kaman

Will either target a more athletic big or a SG this round.

I'm thinking the frontcourt is much more skilled offensively than the current Thunder, but not nearly as good defensively. Fair assessment?

I see three long term keepers and a fill in player.  Humphries is a nice player, but I wouldn't attach long term importance on him.

Yes.

I would go as far as looking to move one of the big men for more a dirty jobs big man.  Let's be honest, both of them are not going to get the touches needed.

Gallo and Lowry are both pretty good. Gallo's a top 5 SF, Lowry probably the 6th or 7th best PG.

I agree both are good players.  But are either of them the guy you can put the ball in their hands at the end of the 4th quarter and create that basket?

I really liked your first three. I can't make a whole lot of judgement on Splitter because I don't really catch a lot of Spurs games, and have limited knowledge on his game.

Was surprised you didn't take your boy there, even if he is struggling.

I'll be curious to see who your PG is.  There are a couple of good ones out there.

PG: Collison
SG: Wade
SF:James

PF/C: Favors.

I take back everything I said about Pat Riley. Building a team around these two is hard.

Hate the Collison and Favors picks.

Collison is a very streaky shooter.  Coupled with the fact he needs the ball to impact the offensive side of the ball. I cant see him being successful in a system where he brings the ball up, hands off to Wade or LBJ, then runs to the corner as a spot-up shooter.

Favors is too soft/young to handle the superstar tandem. He is also too poor a defensive rebounder for the heat to be a successful run n gun team.

Perhaps a Sam Dalembert or Jordan Hill would make a better 5.

I love Favors as a bench guy at this point in his career.

At the point, i'd consider a guy like Jordan Farmar, or even a guy like Jodie Meeks.

As for trading LBJ, you would be crazy to do so.  He is the best player in the league.  His presence automatically guarantees you Conference, or semi's appearances.

Miss match of players.  Look at Chambers.  Decent PG when Wade was out.  A spot up shooter when Wade comes back.

Need some angry beef down low to lay some wood on defense.
