The Rockets still are interested in acquiring Pau Gasol and they would likely be willing to trade Kevin Martin and Luis Scola, according to sources. But the Lakers are unlikely to move Gasol without acquiring a point guard back in return and Houston isn't interested in trading Kyle Lowry.
This would be terrible. Even with we get Lowry, Martin doesn't really solve anything with our wing rotation and Scola is another power forward who can't rebound.
I'd trade Rondo for Lowry/Dalembert. Although that seems like a steal for us.

for instance, maybe it could be a three-teamer with Pau Gasol and Keyon Dooling going to Houston; Luis Scola, Goran Dragic, Kyle Lowry and L.A.'s 2012 no. 1 going to Boston; and Rondo and Jermaine O'Neal going to the Lakers. He needs a change of scenery, and really, so might Celtics fans. I can't watch another 84-82 game with his guy playing five feet off him. I really can't. Enough already.
Yeah, like the Hornets, I'd rather rebuild than take on Martin and Scola for the next few years. Those guys are decent enough players, but they are complementary pieces at best.

Didn't we get enought of that with the horrid teams from 2005-2007, pre-KG?
