New Jersey Nets-- Deron Williams, Brook Lopez

I think the Nets are a fantastic pick.

Best PG in the game (for my money) and a top ten center who can deliver 20-8 with inside + outside game offensively. Very interesting duo to build around.

I was going to take New Jersey at #5 if slamtheking chose the Lakers instead of Chicago.

I was going to take New Jersey at #5 if slamtheking chose the Lakers instead of Chicago. 

Yep. I really wanted to take Atlanta but NJ is too good. Deron is (IMO) the best PG in the league and I like Lopez at the 5. I was very concerned I wouldnt be able to find a consistent ball handler in later rounds so this was an easy pick.

Yeah Dalembert was the other option there I looked at before Lowry, but maybe he has a plan for taking a big man in the draft. Cross off one team I was looking at, now hopefully the next two teams don't take my other wish list candidate.

Lowry is 6 feet tall and is averaging more rebounds per game than Scola.  He is also 6 years younger and is one of the best up and coming guards in the league.  

I think with Lowry and Martin secured we will have the best backcourt in the league.
