Obviously dying here as PSU loses all its recruits. The QB jumped ship to Florida. Good luck to him competing against last years' #1 overall QB Driskel.

It annoys me that all these kids are thinking NFL when they should be thinking academics.

One kid announced "I will be spending the next 3-4 years at Miami"

3 years?  No redshirt? What's more likely to happen at Miami in 3 years? NFL? Drop out? Die? Go to jail?

Kinda admire the kids that stay close to home

Can't believe despite all the punishments Ohio State is cleaning up...they took 5 guys or so from PSU.  Urban Meyer is going to be someone I don't like. I just know it.

I hate sniping from BC, but at least when it happens I feel like we got a good guy....who was that?

Not surprising he was a previous Ohio State Commit.  Probably go to Mount Union and go the Pierre Garcon route.  Thats where all the people that for one reason or another couldnt go to Ohio State wind up.

There are so many kids out there that academically should not be getting recruited by the schools they are going to.

What I can't figure out at all is the 46 commit class by Air Force.  I like them, but what the heck? Are the service academies allowed some allowances or something?

Wow. BC's class does look a little brutal.  Trying to get creative going to Canada. Wow. They went to Canada for their top basketball guy too. What are the odds?

Yup, Spaz needs to go.  We need to get somebody in there to breathe some life into the program and pull in recruits.  Unfortunately, playing in a cold weather, pro sports city and actually having to go to class aren't selling points for most athletes.

Welcome to the factory that is big time college football. Does any kid really go to Texas, Oklahoma, Miami, Ohio State, USC, Alabama, LSU, etc, on a football scholarship to get an education?

I'd like to think some of the two or three star guys do that, but still. They used to go to PSU for an education. Seems like a very long time ago

I'd say very few, although Ohio State and USC are very good schools academically.
