Just dont see Nole pulling it off again tonight. But I?ll be destroying my Sunday to stay up and find out.

An aside: anyone else here on the learner tien train?

Yes. He just turned 20 in December and is beating top players. Took out Medvedev in the AO this year. Has a ton of upside and may be the best American tennis player in the next few years. Ben Shelton has been playing very well, too.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

At 22 years old, Alcaraz now has 7 major titles. If he wins 2 per year, he would catch Novak within the next 10 years for most all time.

MELBOURNE, Australia -- Carlos Alcaraz is the youngest man ever to complete a career Grand Slam after securing the Australian Open title against Novak Djokovic, who had never lost in his 10 previous finals at Melbourne Park.

Alcaraz, at 22 years, 272 days old, showed no ill effects of the severe cramping that nearly derailed his 5-hour epic semifinal win against third-seed Alexander Zverev just 48 hours earlier, as he outhustled and overwhelmed the 24-time Grand Slam champion to prevail 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 in 3 hours, 2 minutes.

Alcaraz is out of the French.   Sinner becomes the heavy favorite, but that also opens the door somewhat for Novak to get to 25 and at least 4 of each one.  Depending how long Alcaraz is out, Wimbledon might also be in play for Novak.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Might as well just give Sinner the trophy now. I can?t see anyone beating him with Carlos out.

he will be the heavy favorite for sure, but if he slips up, I think Novak might have the 2nd best odds at this point.

Novak is injured, though. He hasn?t played a match in almost two months. Even if he is able to play the French, I doubt he can win a best of 5 major at this stage of his career. Especially on clay.
