Tim Tebow has earned my respect. If he played like this all the time, he would silence the critics.

Courtesy of a Redz post waaay back:

I wasn't aware of this being enacted.

It could make for some crazy scenarios.  Or not come up at all.  We shall see.

Quote
The leagues new postseason overtime rules are now in effect, meaning a field goal on the first possession of overtime doesn’t end the game. Instead, if the team receiving the overtime kickoff kicks a field goal on the first drive, the other team would have a chance to either tie the game with a field goal (at which point it would be sudden death from there) or win the game with a touchdown. A touchdown or safety at any point in overtime would win the game.

YES!!!

See Tebow in NE!  Thanks for the OT rules.  I was reading the TD rule just as I was watching the play.  Great!

Despite how well the Broncos played today, I still feel confident about the way the Pats match up.

Just noted by Schefter:

Josh McDaniels's first game as Patriots assistant coach will be against the Broncos.

Thomas & Tebow were also both McDaniels 1st round draft picks.

Won't be easy, but I still like how the Pats match up with the Broncos.  I don't think the Broncos have an answer for the Pats' tight ends.  The Steelers don't have an elite tight end; the Pats have two.
