He can't be any worse than JO was last night.  Why not?

What exactly did JO do wrong? Its kind of hard to fault a guy who the team doesnt let get involved in the offense... (I know he only had one rebound and one steal...yes pretty pathetic) but its like we are playing 2 on 5 out there... Rondo brings it up, feeds KG in the post while Ray, JO, and Sasha stand watching on the other side of the court... They ran this over and over and over and the success rate was pretty much nonexistent... JO still has game and he still can provide offense. If he isnt getting involved in the offense he is going to be non existent in the game like he was last night.
It's more what is he doing that's right? He's not effective at all not mobile no lift etc

I say put Steisma in
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

You have to admit, it's a little sad he doesn't play for the Cavs; the inevitable nickname would be epic.

How can you "not want to judge based on two games" and then say in the next breath that JO is done?

Give him a chance. They were a much better team in the playoffs last year with him on the floor and now he's healthier than he has been in years.  I think he will impress us and soon (like tonight).

And regardless of all of that, it's not going to happen. Doc calle JO the MVP of the preseason and Stiesma can't even beat out Wilcox for minutes. I don't think Doc is going to start him anytime soon.

wilcox would be way better especially with the offensive rebounding we need that with our starting lineup more second chances

Agree. Give Wilcox a chance, and if it doesn't work out we can allways try out other options..
Doc's gonna tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

Yeah iknow, my username is Kendrick Perkins and my ranking is Jeff Green. Ironic huh?

Ask Troy Murphy how he feels about this, and docs idea of rotation. Murphy was a celtic last year, hardly ever played, and of course unsupported by doc, as evidence of his playing time.....BUT, Mr. Murphy is starting for the Lakers, and doing quite a good job rebounding and scoring....but doc would rather MAKE KG do it....kg chose to play forward his whole career..why..because he knows his fav / best position...but doc....and his " big man wisdom" ( = none ) says to "just play center!" as if there is no difference. So, Stiesma, will sit until 12 players are out injured.

Troy Murphy isn't starting for the Lakers. Josh McRoberts is (I guess it doesn't bode well for Murphy that he can't outplay a marginal contributor like McRoberts for a starting spot... but I digress).

If 5 ppg on 40% shooting in 26 minutes is "good job scoring", then your standard surely aren't very high. And before you point to the 9 rpg, note that 3-4 of them come from him trying to put back his own bricks.

But I guess one shouldn't let facts get in the way of a compelling argument...

Murphy just pulled down 11 rebounds for LA.  I can understand someone wondering why we can't we get that kind of veteran 7-footer here, when we brought Sasha back.

How do you know any of them were put backs...? Nice idea..make up stats...LOL. I saw the game, one anyway, he was in it and doing very well. On the rebounds, in the paint, and yes, actually playing...unlike here. Your weak sarcasm means very little to me..why i never knew you even existed before your comments. Maybe one day you can reply like some of the adults do here...

He was on our team last year there my friend..you might not have known it because DOC hardly played him. Now, maybe "magically" he went to an instant talent school over the summer, so it isn't docs fault that he got so good so fast..although he was this good at his team he was on before the celtics also....crazy huh....?

Let the record show that Troy Murphy was battling injuries much of last year.
