Marshon Brooks had 17 points in 22 minutes off the bench for the Nets... Danny dealt this guy for a PF who won't even get any burn this season at all...

Brooks could have been so useful off the bench instead of Bradley...

Ha, like Brooks would have actually gotten to play anyways.  Doc never ever plays the rookies...ever.

Leon Powe, Mike Miller, Rajon Rondo, Pat Burke, Semih Erden, and many others beg to differ.

aren't you leaving out an important GIANT detail; Jajuan hasn't played a single NBA minute yet.  ::)

You can just tell that he needs a lot of work.. he needs to hit the weight room IMO, and I honestly don't really think he's someone to depend on in the future to be alongside Rondo and maybe Jeff Green...

Brooks could have been the starting 2-guard here in the future, as well as make an impact right now

Huh?

What meaning could you have other than "Doc never plays rookies"? Which he clearly has in the past, some for extensive minutes other as role players.

His team also lost by 36 points.

I'm guessing you just looked at his stats on a box score, who knows how much was in garbage time or how well he truly played.

Nets got smoked and it was all garbage time in the second half. Brooks probably doesn't even get off the bench in a close game.

He played the first quarter, though they were down 20 points early.

Brooks had a decent pre-season. He can play.  Jury is still out on JaJuan.  But if JaJuan flops, and Brooks continues to play well - I think frustration at Danny should accelerate.  His drafts have killed us the last few years.  We haven't come away with anyone at all.

Yeah. He waant just balling in garbage time.  He looks like he could be a good scorer.  He's got the length and moves to get his shot off whenever he wants.  If given time I bet he'd be a solid defender too with his length

We've been down 20 points tonight, and probably close to that vs NYK.  But I don't see Moore, JJJ, or AB lighting it up.
