Say what you will, but Nate Robinson would come in off the bench and help us sore (Sometimes....you just have to bench him when he's off)

If Cs keep giving up 34 pt quarters it's gonna be a long year. Don't have firepower to play this way.

With the C's needing offense to keep pace with Knicks, I'd much rather see E'Twaun Moore than Avery Bradley, if Doc is going deep into bench

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Wow 34 points in a quarter.

Where's that suffocating Celtics defense?

I expect a much better 2nd quarter. We need to get Ray and KG more involved.

I think we can get to the half with a tie game.

Don't know if we have to scorers to keep this one close till the end though.

Only 3 assists, 5 TO's and no 3-point attempt in the first quarter. Ray Allen has not attempted a FG yet.

I stopped watching when I saw Avery Bradley was going to get extended time. I don't care what the draft faithful here think. I want him gone.

Yeah - he still looks like a deer in headlights

We can't score without Rondo, even KG only scores on FTs... we desperately miss Pierce (and Green to an extent). The next three quarters could get really bad but maybe our defense will bring us back in.
The C's are going to be a good defensive team this year and they're going to have to be.  Lousy start so far, but team defense takes time to develop, especially without a real training camp.  No need to panic yet...though I don't expect them to be competitive today.

Knicks are playing well.

It's their home opener and they're a high scoring team.

They know Pierce is out of course this is expected.

But it's early.

Plenty of game left to play.

Three Boston starters didn't attempt a shot in the 1st Q--Allen, O'Neal, Pavlovic.

Not surprising considering the approach Rondo took in that first quarter

They call the position SCORING GUARD for a reason. And we have one of the worst offensive guards in the league in at 2.

The Rondo/Bradley backcourt combo to me is intriguing. Together those two can cause a lot of havoc - especially vs. a weak backcourt like the one the Knicks have.
