I can't watch the game but the stats show us getting horribly out rebounded again and giving up lots of offensive rebounds.

Pierce or no Pierce, no excuse for this. Unless, of course, the Celts are bored already --  ::)

Amare is hitting threes, Carmelo is a facilitator and Shumpert is better than any Celtic except Rondo. Things aren't following Doc's plan.

Are we sure that the two teams didn't switch uniforms before the game?

It's just the first half of the first game, and the Truth isn't playing, but the Knicks look very deep, very active and very good.

We're getting a look at why Ainge tried to upgrade the talent level. This Celtics team may be in the bottom third of the league in scoring.

This is frustrating.. I dont CARE if a guy can or CANT shoot the 3 ball, you STILL need to go out and contest the [dang] shot!
This offense seriously sucks without Pierce. Pavlovic is annoying me.. He aint doing nothing!
Bradley plays great defense, put him on Shumpert!
Jack of all trades, master of none.

Yeah... I'm done watching this, it's getting ugly.  This team needs Pierce back badly, so I won't overreact.

Personally I didn't expect to win today and with Pierce out that made me believe it even more. I don't have my hopes up today, but I am excited to see basketball come back.
With that said
Rondo has 1 assists this last quarter. I understand wanting to score, but he's playing like Westbrook.
Bradley's just horrible and should have stayed an extra year or two in college.
Ray having not one FG as of now is not good at all.
Out defense was not good if we gave up 34 points in the 1st quarter alone
And the rest I just won't talk about. Again I didn't expect the best today so my hopes aren't up. I do want the Mavs to win today.
