Not sure they could have started with a worse first quarter. Little defense and horrendous offense, Bass reminded me of big baby with that 22 foot jumper he just took.

Kerr being an ex-GM in the league is an analyst I really respect.  And if he say offense off the bench is going to be a big issue with this team, I'd pay attention to that.

  • GOT IT!!!
This is terrible.  They literally have nobody to fear on the floor.  None of them are really capable of producing on their own

Yea. You gotta have players that can create their own shot. It doesn't matter how good the defense is if you can't score.

12 point lead before the 1st quarter is over . . . wow.

I guess it makes sense, though.  Teams that need to work together to score points (teams without superstars who can score 1-on-1) are going to be at a big disadvantage because of the short off-season and training camp.

When I found out Pierce wasn't playing this is pretty much the outcome I expected. No shock over here.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Celtics look worse on both ends so far . . . especially on offense.  Yuck.

Rondo looks like he's forcing his offense, trying to prove he's a scorer.  It's hurting our offense.

I see where your coming from he's doing well scoring, but he doesn't seem to have any balance. There's no point-guard to his game right now.

As far as the Knicks go one thing D'Antoni has proved over the years is he's a crappy defensive coach.  That ultimately will be the Knicks undoing this year.

I stopped watching when I saw Avery Bradley was going to get extended time. I don't care what the draft faithful here think. I want him gone.

To avoid overreacting here, I'm just going to post other people's reactions on Twitter:

Scoring points is going to be a major problem for the Celtics. They just don't have enough guys who can create their own offense.

We can't score without Rondo, even KG only scores on FTs... we desperately miss Pierce (and Green to an extent). The next three quarters could get really bad but maybe our defense will bring us back in.

Doc is putting some funky units out there. Don't know what he's thinking.

Relax, guys, we're going to win this game. Knicks aren't going to keep hitting J's. You heard it here first.
