#CSNNE.com has learned that Pietrus is leaning "heavily" towards the #Celtics, provided he clears waivers. Story up on the site shortly.

So he needs to clear waivers first?  I guess that's possible since teams might shy away due to the injury.

hopefully he clears waivers. this would be a real nice pickup for the celtics

he has a pretty high salary so who knows if teams will want to take on part of that contract.

That would make my day.  Pietrus would be a huge upgrade for the C's.

Rondo needs to hook him up with his HGH dealer though.  Pietrus hasn't quite been the same since he lost Dwight's hookup.

He definitely needs to be given a shot...what is the downside? He will get the minimum anyway.

Why would a team need to take on his contract? We can sign him for vet min once he clears the waivers.

This would be a nice pickup. Just rehab him until he's ready.

Isn't this injury what Bynum had an played through the year we lost in the finals (eventually needing surgery)? A swelling knee that needed to constantly be drained then had surgery over the offseason

Maybe Ed Lacerte and Dr. McKeon will prevail where Shaolin Monks failed. ;)
