I know we have a "Recommended Reading" thread here on the blog, but I'm going to post my recommendations here, if no one objects:
For Blake Griffin: Read "
Kevin McHale's school of Post Offense and Defense." I know he's getting better, but until he shows me more in these areas I can't compare him to the all-time greats.
DeAndre Jordan: Read a few chapters of the above book, but also check out a few chapters of: "
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's School of Hook." C'mon man BRITNEY GRINER (love her as a player) has a HOOK SHOT, for crying out loud.

Youthfulness and athleticism will help you tremendously, but will only take you so far (See MIA vs DAL last June).
It is for these reasons why I cannot pick the LA Clippers in a seven game series vs the Lakers. The Lakers are a different team now, without Lamar and they have a new coach, but I really believe that as soon as they get used to Mike Brown they are better than the Clippers.
I love Chauncey, but I don't believe he would be able to have that kind of production for a seven game series.
I only saw half the game last night, but based off of what I saw this is how I arrived at my conclusion. Just my take.
