Was it just me or did the Lakers start off pretty well and then just tank when Kobe started doing his solo act?

It didnt help, you could see as they were losing momentum he tried to take over for the rest of the game (LOL at the drive where he tried to dunk over DeAndre and got absolutely stuffed).

But I think the larger problem is that as they went to the bench they just get worse and worse.  They have no bench.  Their one player who is supposed to help them off the bench, Artest, was absolutely terrible.

True true. Although if Kobe weren't reckless there was a chance they could have made a comeback. When he plays within the team they're pretty unstoppable (fortunately he doesn't).

You have to admit though the Clippers were pretty hot from the field but the Lakers definitely took a step backward. Bynum, Gasol and Odom was one of their biggest advantages over other teams and it looks like Dwight is going to the Nets so they gave that away for nothing.

Having no bench will kill Kobe. He will not work his but off only to turn the game over to Metta World Peace. MWP can play off of Kobe; but can't carry the second unit. No way.

Not a Kobe fan; but I would be p---ed too!

LOL sure he already didn't like Mike Brown in a preseason game singling his butt out for playing awful D on Chauncey this will get ugly have no doubt about it
