Thank god - no more Rondo for Paul rumors.

This team will be fun as hell to watch next year. Pretty bummed that we're probably not gonna have a lottery pick next year with their pick though.

Edit: in regards to LAL being able to dedicate their time towards Bynum, if NO was able to get this much out of LAC, the only way I see LAL being able to trade for Howard is by giving up both Gasol and Bynum. They don't have any other good trade chips.

I was just about to post this lol. I would say the Hornets came out of this smelling like roses! Great deal for them and a lot to give up from LA but I guess this is what's known as "fair value" now lol. Wow. Kaman, Gordon, Aminu and 1st and 2 2nds. It will be done by tomorrow morning for sure.

Trading Gordon is going to bite them in the ass in the long run.

I wouldnt do this deal at all!

So, Clippers include both Gordon and the Minnie pick, but don't have to give up Bledsoe, and get two 2nds back from NO.

Still, I'll believe it when I see it.

I think its the right move. They need to be doing anything and everything to make Griffin stay.

Will they have enough cap space to sign Dwight as well? They matched GSW's offer to retain DeAndre. I'm not sure if they'll have enough room..but if they can sign Dwight too, that will be a very solid and exciting trio.

If this does go through, I think Stern has succeeded in what I think is his goal: It's not just about big cities acquiring star players, it's about the teams that let their star players go for peanuts. Stern basically said "CP either needs to take a major paycut by giving up his bird rights or we need to get X,Y, and Z, and I'm perfectly happy to let CP play the season out then walk as a FA if he wants less money." I think he was sick of owners panicking and wanting to get SOMETHING out of a FA leaving and thus facilitating a bird rights max deal for a crappy package.

Orlando, take note. You should get EVERYTHING for Dwight or just call his bluff and make him take a non-bird contract.

Bledsoe is only one of Clips' top five trade assets hekd out of deal. But CP3 opts in for 2012-13, so Clips assured two years of Blake/CP3
