A bit disappointed with that, was hoping Delonte West would go somewhere where he'd get a bit more playing time + could play off of a ball-dominant guard.

I would have liked to have seen him find a better situation for himself.

The Mavs are a solid home for him but not a great one.

Playing time is going to be an issue.  In terms of a ball-dominant guard, though, he'll probably be seeing minutes next to Vince and/or Terry.  That aspect won't necessarily be a huge problem with the Mavs.

I'm curious if the Mavs envision him taking over the Barea role, or at least sharing that role with Rodrigue Beaubois.  Neither is the distributor that Barea was.

I wonder why the celtics passed on West for Dooling?? was it a case of west being injury prone? or more about the $$?? be interested to see what he was signed for...if it was for vet-min ill be dissapointed.

the Mavs have to be the deepest team in the West right now IMO...I dont see how the lakers compete unless they make a trade.

But ya i will REALLY miss DWest. Didnt realize he only played 24 games last year. A lot of baggage but a good guy I think and played hard
