So whats the news on Barea? Surprised his name hasnt come up more (not necessarily for us) in FA news.

He signed with the Twolves.

Ok, thanks Roy
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I wonder why the celtics passed on West for Dooling?? was it a case of west being injury prone? or more about the $$?? be interested to see what he was signed for...if it was for vet-min ill be dissapointed.

the Mavs have to be the deepest team in the West right now IMO...I dont see how the lakers compete unless they make a trade.

Kidd/West
Carter/west
Marion
Dirk/Odom
Haywood

Don't forget Jason Terry.

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry
Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson
Jordan / Bowen

just makes me like the mavs more

Delonte vs. Lamar Odom and Vince Carter

Tough call.
No doubt about it, the Mavs got a whole lot crazier this off season.

Good for Delonte.  I hope it works out for him there.  I think that losing Chandler could really hurt that team, though.

He really was a dominant defensive factor for them during that championship run.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Yeah, I agree. I know Dooling is decent, but it seemed like kind of a sideways move and it would have made more sense to keep a guy who knows our system and is a fan-favorite...maybe too many off the court issues? I don't know - hoping for the best from Dooling and West.

Delonte went for the vet minimum.  Wonder if we really tried to get him back or whether he didn't want to be here?  Dooling's stats are slightly weaker, but he's certainly more durable.  I can't speak to defense, but Keyon has a decent rep.  One thing I liked about Delonte is that he didn't shrink in big games.  I wish him luck.

As far as Dallas, they lost Chandler, Caron Butler, and Barea and got Odom, Carter, and West.  Chandler's a big loss as a defensive anchor and Barea killled the Fakers.  Overall a bit weaker, but their main WC foe are a lot weaker without Odom.

Wow, the vet min? Sounds like Ainge didn't really want to keep Delonte.

Really wish we got him back.

I hope DA didn't pass on him (if he indeed signed for the vet min) for Dooling.
