Interesting...

I'm having Allan Ray flashbacks.

man, imagine how awesome it would be if we had allan ray backing up ray allen.

on a serious note, though, it would be great if moore can actually be a rotation player, for a couple of reasons.

a) he will have great chemistry with jajuan

b) we can be sure to pencil marquis in to miss roughly a third of the season, if not more.

yep...hoping to god doc uses him to back up ray and pushes bradley to the d league...moore is 10 times better than bradley and honestly better than daniels/sasha...hoping he plays
Have you watched him play much?

Not to speak for him, but I was a big fan of Moore in college.  He plays with a real edge.  Unfortunately, he is not really a great athlete, or supremely talented or anything.  But, if he can find a way on the court, I think he will win a lot of fans.

all 4 years at purdue...i am an ohio state alum...moore can play point but is a very good shooter...he lit osu up last year for like 8 or 9 threes in the game at WL...him and johnson are good players..i think moore has the size and skill to buy ray allen minutes. he would be my first choice of all the guys we have to back ray up...he is solid. smart...get to the rim...can shoot with range...hope doc gives him burn

if you start demanding actual facts, data, and player observations from cb posters you are going to make us all look pretty silly.  :D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

More curious than anything, I only watched 3 or 4 Purdue games and I can't say I was impressed with Moore or Johnson. Neither stood out in my recollections of the games.

Clown

Their are other PF's out there such as Dorsey who would offer better rebounding + hustle stats

He wouldnt have commanded the full MML. And i heard that it was a 1yr deal also. That too is also a joke. what about a Center?

Pryzbilla?
Aaron Gray signed with Toronto - we could have used him
Kwame Brown is still out there
Thabeet? low budget Center who will add size and flair around the rim

Or how about Trade someone to get under the cap. get rid of KG his mammoth $21mill isnt helping anyone here

i watch them prolly 10 times a year the last 4 years....johnson improved a ton in four years..moore is a good player..really like his game. would be a nice surprise if both added to this roster

Indeed, with a win now team why would you want a Top 5 PF (who's also the best defensive PF even at his age) in the league anymore!

Wait so Big Baby had a PER of 12 last year, and now we have Brandon Bass at PER 16 and Wilcox PER 18 and you guys are complaining??? Toss in JJJ as a wildcard + 6'9 Jeff Green with more experience in our system and that's a lot better Frontcourt than last year.

Who would you add in place of KG? He is easily the best option out there, especially since this year's cap makes no difference since everybody is making a lot of money. If we are trading KG, we better be trading Ray, Paul, and JO, as well...

I think you're too hard on our bench, its better than last years and most benches in the NBA aren't very good.

Most NBA teams only have 7 or 8 good players tops. Many have less than that....

i just fear 3 things about this bench: daniels getting hurt and being out for a long time...avery bradley getting any significant minutes at all and not having a replacement for when JO gets hurt

i like bass, wilcox and green if he is healthy...i am intrigued by the rookies...not feeling sasha, daniels nor bradley being guys we can count on...but you are right...it is better than the lakers

Yeah, depending on how well Green and Bass play, and whether Daniels is healthy, the C's could realistically have one of the best benches in the league.

The question is how much of the burden the bench will have to carry, as the starters fade.

Yeah the best bench in the league would still be one of the worst starting lineups in the league.

Its all relative.
