#Celtics signed Chris Wilcox using the full mid-level. That means the C's have nothing but vet minimum contracts to offer.

That explains why we don't hear about Delonte or other "high-priced" centers anymore...

Well, I was shocked when I'd heard that he'd agreed to the vet min.

This would mean that it's not a one-year deal, right?

  • Rondo = Good
mehhh.

i guess it seemed too good to be true that a guy as young and productive as he is would accept the vet. minimum.  29 years olds that average 7 and 5 don't take the vet minimum.

It could be a one year deal, or it could be up to 4 years.

Either way its a rather small contract that I don't think Danny would worry about it.

Ugh. So this is the roster we've got, barring some kind of trade. Huge bummer that the David West deal didn't go through, that would've been HUGE

This explains why it was a "no brainer" to him coming here. I don't think was worth it we should have waited for some of the overseas guys to return.

According to Paul Flannery, it's a one-year deal :

Some contract info: Chris Wilcox got the mid-level taxpayer exception and Sasha Pavlovic's contract is guaranteed. Both are one-year deals.

Well that's nice, preserves all the cap flexibility going forward then.

I was sort of upset and then I realized he's 6'10 and had a PER of 18 last year. That's good value.
