Maybe we finally got a few people who can actually score some points with authority besides the big three.  West and Bass can give some OFFENCE when the starters are taking a break..... remember when we would get these nice leads and the second string would FAIL on us  :(
west and pierce should play alot of time with that second unit. jeff green will still get a ton of minutes because he will be in there when pierce west or kg needs rest actually a really solid rotation and with a defensive center added we are in good shape

something just occurred to me --- with danny ainge making moves for brandon bass and david west today, and also signing chris wilcox, i think we can officially say, as if there were any doubt:

danny ainge absolutely LOVES undersized power forwards.

Loving the midrange game between Garnett, Bass and West. All 3 of them well over 45% on midrange jumpers.

Also giving West or Garnett some nights off a no-brainer now.

Is it possible that we keep JO and trade some combination of Bass, Bradley, Moore, Johnson, and picks?  New Orleans wants cheap, young talent.  Is this possible or do we have to trade JO?  I know Green can refuse any trade if he signed a QO.

It appears that new orleans will be flipping the players in this deal on to other teams, so whether or not theyre young and cheap is less important.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

Yes things are looking up.....I recall those bleak days late last year with Troy Murphy and BBD .....Bass and West can cure that nightmare.

Huh?  Who's undersized?  Those guys are undersized for the 5...not the 4.

Brandon Bass 6-8 and LONG
David west 6-9 and ripped
Chris Wilcox 6-10

Any wind on who's the filler? Hope its not Bradley or the young ones since the Hornets don't care.

wilcox is 6'9''.  under 6'10'' is traditionally considered undersized for PF, while under 6'11'' is traditionally considered undersized for center.

although i will concede to you that in the modern NBA the concept of "undersized" seems to be eroding with all of the 6'8'' and 6'9'' swing forwards and there being so few skilled true centers.

The Celtics have almost completely stopped giving information to any sources. It's crazy.

It's probably worth it, but it'd be just about the last thing I'd want to see.

Never been crazy about West's game, but he's definitely a fine scorer on a team that needs one.

Amazing how much we stand to improve offensively by swapping out Baby, JO and Perkins for West, Bass and Green.  Looking much more like a team that can maximize Rondo's gifts.

Would be great if I thought he was healthy enough to play well.  I don't.
