Evans is at the top of the list, but Blazers would need full MLE to get it done. Blazers won't have MLE unless they amnesty Brandon Roy

Reggie Evans' asking price according to John CanzanoReggie

Evans asking for the full MLE? Yikes.

Do you blame him?  Davis just got what? $6.5 million per year, and Hayes got the full MLE.  While Evans may not be quite as good, he is at least close enough to be looking for a similar deal.

JRich 5yrs for 25 million?

Good contract. I would have taken that over Jeff Green.

Warriors to sign DeAndre Jordan to 4-year, $40 million offer sheet Sunday. No Biedrins amnesty to do it

- David Aldridge on Twitter.

$10 million a year for DeAndre Jordan.

I think this is a 50-50 call for the Clippers. It's right on the edge of both being uncomfortable and yet just about acceptable at the same time. Tough decision. Taking a pretty big risk either way.

Yeah, very 50-50.  Tough blow to lose a young good player while the team is emerging as a future contender.  But not great contract value.

Sam Amick is now reporting that Thornton's deal is actually 4 years, $31 million.  That still seems a bit high but much more reasonable.
So glad to hear that.

Frontcourt enforcer Kurt Thomas, I'm strongly told, headed to Portland on two-year deal. Blazermaniacs deserve some good news

Sources also tell ESPN that, as @MikeWellsNBA predicted, Pacers and Grizzlies again engaged Josh McRoberts/OJ Mayo talks. This time S-and-T

Nice get for Portland. He'll be a really nice addition to their front-line.

Add some real physical toughness behind the finesse-based Marcus Camby.

I wouldn't mind Kurt Thomas here. He played excellent defense for the Bucks and the Bulls. Especially 1x1 in the post. Quite impressive how he keeps going.

Appearently Atlanta's ownership is still refusing to pay the luxury tax.

So they are pretty hemmed in right now. Can't make any non-minimum contract signings and might have to focus on rookie minimum contracts to fill final roster spots.

And perhaps most importantly, this makes it just about impossible for Atlanta to do a sign and trade for Jamal Crawford because they cannot take back any salary. So we can write off those NYC and Chicago S+T for Jamal Crawford rumours.

Hands are tied.

What if they use amnesty on Marvin Williams?

If BFM hasn't posted it already, Mike Bibby officially signs with Knicks.

New York Knicks officially announced the signing of free agent Mike Bibby

Bibby immediately becomes the main reason why I don't fear the Knicks will overtake the Celtics in the Atlantic.
