Has there been any talk of using replacement players? If the league can't get a deal done with the NBPA using replacement players might be the only option to save the season. Anyone?

Scabs would be very, very disturbing.

Anyone want to see some D-league guy wearing #34 in a green jersey?

It would be the end of the NBA.

Thinking a bit more about this...

Scabs could really make a lot of people happy around here.

Antoine could come back!

Is Dino Radja available? This could be a dream scenario!

I'm no lawyer, but it does seem probable the owners will have an extremely difficult time putting replacement players in place.  This is a lockout, not a strike.  The owners would need an overwhelming case against the players to accomplish this.  The matter would be tied up in courts for a while.  By then the league may be gone.

If the players decerify, then it gets easier.  This is the reason I suspect most all of the players do not want to decertify.

That was my point, I don't have game, I was trying to make a joke, not trying to pick myself up at all.

I would still root for the Celtics if they were replacements.   I rooted for us in late nineties what would be the difference?

No worries, I'm with you on Scal. He even lit it up on his team in Benetton, Treviso today! He could fit well back on the C's bench if we ever have a season.

This is a lockout, not a strike, so replacement players are not an option.  The only way they could use replacement players would be if the union decertified (and even then, I am not positive they could).
