A third deal to announce:

Rusted Rims trade Kemba Walker, Avery Bradley, #11 pick, #20 pick
Make Me Some Bacon trades Wesley Johnson, #2 pick, #19 pick
Reall like this for Rims. Walker and Bradley for the #2 pick this year is just not good value...IMHO.

I've really liked what FWW has done turning the Rims around. I won't say anything about Wes Johnson.

I will offer a fun draft fact -  from 2000 to today, by the numbers, Pick 10 gives you a chance at a top three guy EVERY YEAR. And the top 3 picks have never produced three top 10 players.

There is a roster miss up on my team..On the goggle page, it said I have Francisco Garcia and Ryan Hollins..but I drop them and pick up Kwame Brown and Sebastin Telfair at the end of last season. And I look on my roster last season and it has Brown and Telfair on it.

THE Fairweather Wiggle?   ;)

Thanks for the compliment - still feel like I'm at least one year away though.  Hoping to sneak into the playoffs this season.

I confirmed those two roster moved on the league page, and have updated the google doc. Thanks for pointing that out.

I say up it to 50%

Hypothetically, would that be 50% total (10/20) or 50% of the teams not involved in the deal (9/18, or 17 if a 3-way deal)?  50% total is basically closer to 60%, since the guys making the deal aren't gonna veto it.
I say 50% total.

Trades should be a difficult thing to veto and a majority of the entire league should deem the veto in the best interest of the entire league, not just a third.

Which leads me to a question(sorry I didnt read the constitution, I have a lawyer that does that for me) but regarding a veto vote, what is the number of veto votes needed? I have reada third but is that a third of the remaining, non-involved GMs(so 6 total) or is that one third of all GMs(making it 7 votes needed)?

I'm pretty sure it's 7 votes.

Ha. Wow, sorry, muscle memory at this point.

I like your playoff chances. I'm also interested in a number of guys on your roster if you want to get in touch.

All this talk of vetoes, "championship shine" and THE fairweather wiggle... is all just a ruse to avoid talking about .....

THE DEAL OF THE CENTURY!!!!!!

Another trade to announce:

Utah Flash sends Jordan Williams
Gainesville Celtics send #39 pick

Oh and to reset my roster:

Al Harrington
Al Jefferson
Andrei Kirilenko
C.J. Miles
Chris Singleton
Chuck Hayes
Daniel Gibson
Drew Gooden
Earl Watson
Elton Brand
Joe Johnson
Jordan Williams
Kenyon Martin
Metta World Peace
Mo Williams
Rudy Fernandez
Russell Westbrook

#22 pick

I'm interested in getting another pick in the 20-30 range or possibly moving #22 for the right player.

Just about anyone other than Westbrook is available --- though I did have (what I think was) a pretty serious back and forth about him with another GM this week, so as KG said:

ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

TPs for all trade inquires. Double if you reply to my inquiry.

I will offer a fun draft fact -  from 2000 to today, by the numbers, Pick 10 gives you a chance at a top three guy EVERY YEAR.

Didn't realize you were such a Mo Williams fan.

I'll start working on my David West is better than Chris Bosh argument. An eight year run just doesn't impress as much does it? Oh well. But from 2000 to today the top 3 picks have never produced three top 10 players. That holds up, right?

2000 - Stromile Swift
2001 - Kwame Brown
2002 - Jay Williams
2003 - Darko Milicic
2004 - Ben Gordon
2005 - Marvin Williams
2006 - Adam Morrison
2007 - Greg Oden
2008 - Michael Beasley
2009 - Hasheem Thabeet
2010 - Evan Turner (He and Derrick Williams have a chance to play spoiler this season.)

Which is just another way of saying, "Don't blow it with the second pick, FWF!"

Just want to say that except for a freakishly strange week of injuries last year, the Boxer Rebellion would be the reigning champs and yet we have the number 4 pick this year.

So to add to a who's who type team of fantasy players like:

Dwight Howard
Kevin Garnett
Paul Pierce
Deron Williams
Jrue Holiday
Amare Stoudemire
Danilo Gallinari
Carlos Boozer
Ryan Anderson
Tony Allen
J J Redick
Jared Dudley
and Lamar Odom

will be a fourth pick in the draft.

Recent #4 picks over the last 9 years include

Tyreke Evans
Chris Paul
Russell Westbrook
Mike Conley Jr.
Chris Bosh.

Not bad. That means the Rebellion has a better than 50% chance of landing an All Star to top 5 player in this draft to add to this ridiculously deep team.

(Sorry, as I am taking the place of Edgar, I don't do scrolling text but I do do over the top promotion of our team)

Rebellion Rule

I guess I do do scrolling text afterall
