I am posting a draft version of the league constitution. This reflects standard operating procedure since the beginning of the league, but there are some new items thrown in that I would like people to either ratify or offer alternatives to.

Also, there may be some things not addressed in the constitution that should be. I've allowed comments in the Google doc.

We are still looking at a rookie draft during the week of Sept 3, most likely the Wed or Thurs of that week, although I've also heard that folks may want to hold the draft the following week (of Sept 10).

I'm about to start a 3-week vacation, so I can't swear I'll be responding to emails/PMs that promptly, but I'll do what I can.

Are we still on for the draft this coming week, wednesday or thursday? Either day would be great, Im looking forward to it!

Finally back in PDX after a long vacation. First day back at work tomorrow, so I don't know what's in store for me this week.

Still, was anticipating (hopefully) a draft on Wed or Thurs. However, I wonder if people have this on their radar.

Also, I have a few trades to officially announce. I will do so tomorrow, if/when I have the time.

Still, was anticipating (hopefully) a draft on Wed or Thurs. However, I wonder if people have this on their radar.

What's the argument against pushing the draft back?  I'm down for drafting whenever, but I know that several owners haven't checked in here in quite awhile and may not even know there's a draft if we do it in 2-3 days.  Blake, Larrybird 17, and BFM come to mind, and there are probably more. 

It's possible one or more owners may not even be planning to keep their team this year - would it be a good idea to take inventory of that and find replacements if necessary before doing the draft?

It's the opposite for me, I'm free all week this week for the draft, but will be away next week. I prefer to have it this wednesday or thursday, but as Mk, if that doesn't work, I can give my list to lucky to pick.

I emailed BFM about a trade proposal over a week ago and haven't heard back from him, so I wonder if he's away or no longer interested in keeping his team
