I'm still looking to add a starting PG and will consider all realistic offers for any player on my roster (except LeBron, Deng and George).

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Got some point guards to deal:

Kyle Lowry
Devin Harris
George Hill
Jamal Crawford

Crawford is the most expendable. Looking to get a big in return, or a younger player. I'm not much for counter-offers so don't try to lowball me too badly :).
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

just read that Brandon Roy is considering retirement. Glad I didn't end up trading for him.

Blazers now saying Roy will NOT be amnestied this year and will stay with the team:

Good news for the Rusted Rims, and for me as a fan, because I've always liked Roy.

I never really thought they'd amnesty him. The public outcry here would have been unbelievable. Pretty sure Blazer fans would have burned down the Rose Garden if Paul Allen amnestied Roy.

Both side are posturing. Roy says he may retire to scare away bottom feeder teams after he is amnestied.

Portland all of a sudden loves Roy and his cartilage-less knees. They leak that he may start at SG this year.

Roy wants to be amnestied to go to a contender. Portland doesn't want to pay him his $$$ while watching him hoist the LB trophy in Miami. Don't forget, Paul Allen is in charge of Portland. He may just keep Roy to spite him.

Either way, I don't see Roy having too much value. He *should* play 20mins per night as a backup with back-to-back nights off. If Portland follows through with their threat to start him and he ends up playing 30+min per night, he'll just end up badly injured again.

Portland should just move on.

The impression I always got was that Roy was loyal to Portland and wanted to stay if he could - he's lived his whole life in the Pacific NW after all.  Lucky might know better as a local though.  Either way I doubt he sees the possibility of starting and 30 mpg as a "threat".

I agree that the retirement talk was a bluff to scare off crappy teams like the T'Wolves, though.

I think Williams will perform better than the majority of 2nd rounders.  At the same time, I'm assuming DD got an asset for a player they were planning to cut.  Good deal for both teams.

I was going to cut Hill (among other players) but I want to hold on to him for sometime and see how McHale plans to use his bigs...I think he'll do just as well as Shawne Williams.

Yeah, I felt I needed some help at SF. BFM gets a late 2nd out of it, so win-win.
