Both side are posturing. Roy says he may retire to scare away bottom feeder teams after he is amnestied.Portland all of a sudden loves Roy and his cartilage-less knees. They leak that he may start at SG this year.Roy wants to be amnestied to go to a contender. Portland doesn't want to pay him his $$$ while watching him hoist the LB trophy in Miami. Don't forget, Paul Allen is in charge of Portland. He may just keep Roy to spite him.Either way, I don't see Roy having too much value. He *should* play 20mins per night as a backup with back-to-back nights off. If Portland follows through with their threat to start him and he ends up playing 30+min per night, he'll just end up badly injured again.
Trade to announce:Designated Drinkers trade Shawne WilliamsLucky17 trades Rondo2287 2012 2nd rounder

At the same time, I'm assuming DD got an asset for a player they were planning to cut. Good deal for both teams.
