#1. Start Brady. Trade Newton. I can't imagine benching Brady because of a perceived matchup. He's an elite fantasy QB.

#2. Not sure if Colston is still on a pitch count. Brees is still spreading things around. I lean to Cruz, until Colston proves he's start-worthy again.

#3. Tough call. Sproles, and then a toss up. I think SD could run up the score vs. Denver, so maybe Tolbert? I have Best, and I have no idea what to expect vs. Chicago. He could get some receptions, though.

Those are all the safe calls I was going with as of right now. I've been sticking with Best because he's a featured back, but Tolbert just keeps on coming up with points. Its frustrating, because I want to bench him, but he just keeps punching it in.

I have high waiver priority this week, so I want to use it right! I'm good for WRs, but then it gets murky.

Here are my tentative adds:

1) Demarco murray(dal rb)
2) Ronnie Brown (new det rb)
3) Carson Palmer (new raiders QB)

I've got newton and Tebow for qb's, but then I have Javid best as my 3rd best rb. With his concussion, who knows how long he will be out.

So, is my waiver list right? If I don't get Murray, I get brown, if they're both gone, I get Palmer. Palmer gives me a more traditional backup QB, but tebow's run td potential is really useful.

Who are you cutting?

I think Murray is a good add.  Palmer might be worth the gamble.  I'm not as sure about Brown; it's not clear that he'll be the #1 backup at this point.

Curious, how deep is your league?  In a deep one of mine, ronnie brown has been owned all season (even with only 38 yards!) and delmarco murray has been owned for a while too.  In my shallow one, I have absolutely zero interest in picking up carson palmer.

Also, if jahvid best is your 3rd best RB, i think he's a must start every week at w/r in a ppr league.  He's been pretty huge in helping me to first place in my ppr league thus far as my w/r starter every week.

Action: 16 teams with a shallow bench. PPR, but no slot Pos. But, since sproles is a lock for 10+ pts even without a score, best is my 3rd rb right now. I just traded for Chris Johnson, WRs are Jennings, Williams(tb) and colston

Roy: brown would only be my Best insurance, as Schwartz is barely saying 'boo' about the concussion. Should I remove Brown from the waiver list? I'm cutting a second kicker I had to pick up when Novak was on the bye

Tps all around

no slot position?  so does that mean 1 qb, 2 wr, 2 rb, 1 te, 1 k for offense?

i think best is a great 3rd option.  if he misses time, i think that makes ronnie brown a good option as his fill in.  this is a tough call...  i'd say delmarco murray is the better short term plug in b/c he's more likely to get time.  but what if jahvid best misses extended time (however unlikely)?  then ronnie brown is the clear better pickup since murray will likely only get a few weeks of run.  and if best doesn't miss any time, then you should start best over murray.  if what i just said made any sense, to sum it up i'm thinking maybe go with the det RB situation altogether...  i'm sorry, i'm too tired to put these rambling thoughts together coherently.

p.s. that's incredible that you have brady, chris johnson, and greg jennings in a 16 team league...

Traded Brady for Johnson actually. It's a keeper league, where the keeper costs one round higher than the round taken. I took Newton in the 11th round, Brady in the 1st. Newton is the best value keeper in the league, so I kept him, and took a risk on Johnson. We will see how that plays out.

Oooooh... you couldn't get a better RB straight up for Brady?  I understand your inclination to keep Newton, but I'd have at least waited to get a better offer.

Also, upon further research... delmarco is splitting carries with tashard choice, no?  i'd definitely take ronnie brown over him.

I almost think there is no real good choice here. Might want to just cancel all the waiver options and wait to see who gets carted off the field next week.

Oh, and no better options...ap wasn't coming, mcfadden wasnt coming, and Foster's owner had rivers. With Brady cooling, and bill saying he was going run-heavy, I thought I'd best take my chance when I saw it in cj
