So my first pick this year was Adrian Peterson, not sure of any other AP owners, but I am a little concerned that given the situation up in Minny, AP will get put on the shelf towards the end of the season.  Im currently in first place but couldnt deal with it if he was out for the playoffs.

Should I try and move him?

Ronnie Brown trade voided

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7122931/ronnie-brown-detroit-lions-voided-due-jerome-harrison-health-sources-say

Nice. And, I did not pickup Brown, and looks like Best might not miss time. Nice.

Turns out Harrison has a brain tumor. Being traded might've just saved his life.

Current RB's: Michael Turner, Rashard Mendenhall, Jahvid Best
Current WR's: Desean Jackson, Steve Smith, Dez Bryant, Nate Washington

Start 2 wideouts, start 2 runningbacks, 0 flex.

Should I trade:

Mendenhall & Dez for Forte?

I kind of "lose out" on the trade, but it would seemingly upgrade my starting lineup.

See if you can unload Best first.

Ya, I tried going that route. Even pre-possible season ending injury that was a no-go.

Owners smart, we're in a bit of a game of chicken. He knows I'd like to upgrade my starting lineup cuz of the depth, I know he could really use an upgrade at his second wideout. Can't imagine him going back to Best, and while I like Washington I'd doubt he'd be enough.

Unless it is a PPR league I'm not sure Forte will be much of an upgrade over Mendenhall going forward.  Mendenhall started slowly last year as well and finished strong, I think he has that in him again (last game was a big step in that direction).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield

Honestly Mendenhall looks like he's on the upswing, I'd stay pat.

Forte is fantasy gold in a PPR league. That's a no brainer. I would take forte over Mendenhall though. Sell high on him. Forte is the Bears Offense and Mendenhall can't be depended on. He's inconsistent.

Who do you start at the Flex position?

Eric Decker
Sydney Rice
DeMarco Murray

Decker and it's not even close...

No more Lloyd and Decker becomes defacto number 1.

a defacto number 1 with Tebow throwing him passes.

I'd give Murray a look especially if it isn't a PPR league.

Murray is giving carries to Choice. Plus even though he ran hard against NE, he only average 3.2 ypc.

Plus even Felix Jones only had one TD all year. The Dallas backfield doesnt sniff the endzone.

They are playing a weak rush defense.

How does Decker do now that Lloyd is not longer there drawing cover and Tebow is the QB?

I am very happy I stuck with my first thought.

  • Rondo = Good
My fantasy team is somehow winning this week even though I got a total of 4 pts from my running backs (McFadden, Best, Lynch, and Wells all got injured prior to or early on in their games).

edit:

I will officially win this week if the Ravens D/ST is held under 35 fantasy points (per my league's scoring, which tends high) -- not looking great, since they've averaged 37.5.

I was looking at my waiver wire in my Dynasty League, and noticed that Kenny Britt was hanging out there. I let Roy Helu go, and picked up Britt, tossed him in the IR slot in my Dynasty league.
Not looking for advice or anything..just sayin, I picked up a possible top 7 WR next year for the cost of a 10th rounder (which is the waiver wire price). Plus, I got Cam Newton who I selected in the 11th round so ummmm....
