Kobe Bryant Is Still A Knucklehead

Continuing our ongoing storyline:

San Diego police are investigating an allegation that Lakers star Kobe Bryant was involved in altercation with a man at local church, according to a news report by KCBS-TV Channel 2.

The incident occurred Sunday at St. Therese of Carmel Church in Carmel Valley, when Bryant allegedly grabbed a cellphone from the man who sustained an injury to his wrist, according to the report.

Bryant reportedly thought the man was taking photos of him and his wife but saw no photos after inspecting the phone.

Yeah, not the hugest deal in the world, but physically assaulting somebody at church is at least discussion worthy.

From the initial reports I've read, someone allegedly tried to take a pic of him at church. If this is the case, whoever it was was wrong.

He may be Kobe, but in a place of worship he deserves privacy.

This is just based off of what I've read thus far.

In a perfect setting, I guess I wouldn't have hurt the man's wrist. but still the man was the initiator here - allegedly.

I agree people shouldn't take pictures of others at church -- it should be off-limits -- but assaulting somebody at church seems to be worse.  I mean, if Christ asks us to turn the other cheek when slapped, I'm sure he'd suggest the same thing when our photo is being taken.

Yeah - that's the unfortunate part (what you highlighted and underlined).

So my next question is whether the alleged photog pointed the camera-phone at him. I would venture to say that something happened that set Kobe off.

Good Point Edgar - didn't realize the headdress relation - meant no offense to you or anyone else.

As for the other pic I guess folks are entitled to however they feel about Kobe.

But based off of the initial reports I'd still say that Kobe and his family deserves respect in the situation.

but after he finally wins a title without Shaq, the media fawns all over him and his money-grubbing trophy wife like they are America's Family. Bryant is a horrible teammate, a worse husband and a total fake, phony, fraud who is all about appearances and his own personal achievements.

the reason he is an intense competitor (when things are going his way) is because he is so motivated by self-glorification. his happiness after winning a title is not about the achievement of his team, but about adding another stat in his column in pursuit of being considered the "Greatest Laker of All-Time."  it's all about Kobe.
