I stopped into one of my accounts for lunch today and they had Omegand Hennepin on tap so of course I had to have a few (tough job, I know).  It was delicious!  More of a belgiun wheat in style but smoothe and tastey.  I do not recall where I ranked Lucky in the beer selection but I may have to boost him up in my rankings.

I am not above giving you a TP for this.

And another one from me.  CNY represent!  Try Ommegang's 3 Philosophers or Abbey Ale too.  Both really good.

On a related note, I picked up an Ayinger Celebrator based on Edgar's recommendation.  Nice rich nutty double bock.  Enjoyed it a lot.  Now if I could just find some of those 3 Floyds....

I have had the 3 Philosophers before and am a fan.  I am also not above packing and shipping some 3 Floyds to anyone who is interested...I am sure we can figure something out via PM if anyone is interested.

Also, I have already decided that if and I mean IF I can actually get my hands on a few bottles of Three Floyds Dark Lord that I would drink the most of them but save one and have some sort of drawing from any of the other 12 owners from this thread that may be interested and ship the winner a bottle.  Now if only I can get my greedy little paws on some...

Ah, Me First & The Gimme Gimme's: Haven't listened to them in quite some while. They'd be a pretty solid bar band.

I do wonder why more bands don't try what they're doing. Every place I go cover bands play the same songs: American Pie Soundtrack, Jet, Lit, etc.

Why not try to mix it up with some pop songs people like? Is that too easy of a way to separate yourself from the 900 bands who are also playing the Violet Femmes?

Hello everybody, I am alive.  It is true.  I am very sorry about missing out on the last few rounds, and the voting.  I feel especially bad due to me being a commish.  You can look on  my posting logs that I havent really come up for air in a couple weeks now.  Things have been crazy at work, we fired a guy that did about 10 hours of work a week, which doesnt sound like much, but when his 10 hours get added on to your 50 hours it kinda sucks.

Anyways, im sorry that I have been MIA, and Im glad that this thing was such a success.  I missed you guys, just been crazy.

Found and had Racer 5 up here last week. I was pretty excited but sadly it didn't live up to the hype for me. Good, but not the transcendent beer experience that IP led me to believe it would be. Mostly, I was just upset that I hadn't wet myself from pure joy after the first sip.

My disappointment is on you, Bellinger.

I'll continue to push the 3 Floyd's GumballHead as the superior hoppy beer. Let me know if anyone outside of the midwest bar owners (CC, Dons) comes across it.

Funny story...I've been pushing for my local craft beer purveyor to get the 3 Floyds, but since nobody could get it, I went ahead and found a brewing kit to make a clone.
